Hair + Makeup Artist & Now Teacher
I recently had the privilege of teaming with Veronika Moreira, an accomplished hair and makeup artist, on an exciting project. Veronika’s vision centered around launching personalized 1-on-1 lessons aimed at teaching makeup artists the art of hairstyling, thereby expanding their skill sets. The core objective was to create a sophisticated and inviting landing page that would resonate with both fashion makeup artists and bridal makeup artists, all the while maintaining an air of luxury that aligned seamlessly with Veronika’s brand. In order to realize this vision, I leveraged a suite of tools, including Typeform for email capture, Mailchimp for email marketing, Figma for design and asset creation, as well as a website builder for the landing page itself. Striking a balance between lead generation and the avoidance of overtly sales-driven content was a paramount consideration in this project.

Challenge
One of the central challenges in this venture was crafting a landing page that catered to the unique sensibilities of fashion makeup artists while also resonating with bridal makeup artists. Veronika sought a landing page that retained the style of her bridal website, but with the capacity to attract the fashion makeup artists for her 1-on-1 lessons.
It was essential to sidestep any overbearing sales tactics, as Veronika’s target market was particularly averse to such approaches. Additionally, the project involved addressing the issue of how to streamline the lead generation and onboarding processes for Veronika, who was not fully familiar of the range of options available.
